Senior Level Vice President – Corporate Credit recruitment

Reporting to senior leadership in Hong Kong, this opportunity presents itself due to the firm’s commitment to robust and well managed Credit in response to a sustained Front office growth mandate. This newly created hire will specialise within the mid market corporate segment, holding credit approval authority and over time being tasked with building out a team to support this growing business.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide recommendation / approval for Corporate Credits (including SME) transactions in HK

• Coaching of credit managers, analysts trainee or junior RM staff

• Partnership with relationship managers with the ability to influence outcome

• Effective leadership of conflict resolution in a professional manner without compromising underwriting standards

Key Requirements:

• Background in corporate commercial banking including transaction negotiation and structuring

• Strong background in credit risk management including analysis and approval of transactions and management of a portfolio of related assets

• Proven ability to make time sensitive credit decisions

• Minimum 10-12 years experience in Commercial banking Risk

• Strong people management and development skills
