An opportunity has arisen to join our growing Insurance Team as a Senior Underwriter. Due to some exciting changes within the business we are looking to expand our Sydney team and are looking for a forward thinking individual who enjoys a challenging and innovative working environment.
The scope within the role will really be down to you, as opportunities will arise as the business grows in the market. We are not looking for someone who views this role as just a job - you will be truly passionate about life insurance and keen to develop your skills building on your previous achievements within the industry.
You will be responsible for underwriting our risk products, some of which are unique to Macquarie Life. You also play an integral role in maintaining and building relationships with advisers which is essential to our business growth. This will be via regular communication both over the phone and also with field visits. It is also necessary to liaise and negotiate with our treaty reinsurers on a regular basis.
