Position Overview
This company is a local success story with award winning products and a reputation for work / life balance. They currently have an opportunity for a Linux Administrator to join a strong team of five on an initial 3 month contract. The contract could extend or turn into a permanent opportunity.
What you will do
Working in a team, provide general administrative support for Linux / AIX as well as some Window servers. The work includes installing, monitoring and troubleshooting over 25 servers
What you need to have
· Over 4 years’ experience administering Linux / AIX servers in an environment of over 20 servers
· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system and network problems
· Strong communication and documentation skills
· Experience supporting Windows 2008, networking and application level skills would be an asset
