Senior Linux Administrator Job in Vancouver V5k1a1, British Columbia Canada

A TEKsystems partner is in need of a Senior Linux Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work within an enterprise environment, within an established team.

Duties:
- Responsible for the Linux server environment (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- Monitor systems and suggest system improvements as needed
- Building, installation of configuration of Linux machines
- Support of virtual VMware environment and Active Directory
- Creation of documentation and audits

Required Skills:
- 4+ years experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, in a 50+ server environment
- Must have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4/5
- Must have experience with VMware 3.5 or Vsphere
- Experience with SAN
- Strong command of the written and spoken English language
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Available for on call support
