Senior LNG Trader – Singapore recruitment
A leading multinational oil and gas company are actively looking to hire a Senior LNG Trader to help build out their trading platform in Singapore. With significant assets in conventional and unconventional gas, the company has a number of interests in LNG liquefaction and regasification globally. They are looking to grow their LNG business substantially in 2012, and are building out their LNG trading team particularly in the Pacific Basin.
You will need to have a proven background in LNG Trading, with a strong track record in negotiation of MSAs and closing spot deals. Ideally this will have been gained in another major energy company, and you will have experience in marketing spot cargoes and originating transactions. A part of this role will cover developing relationships with customers in the APAC region, so a strong network of contacts particularly with buyers in Japan, Korea, China, India and Taiwan will be advantageous.
