QUALIFICATIONS COMPETENCIES: Must have supervisory experience. Related experience includes technical program management, budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements development. Presentation and briefing skills to top level managers required.
A minimum twelve (12) years experience managing government programs is required. Experience providing RESET requirements support for Army Logistics assets. Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing; versed in transportation web based tools; knowledgeable of DoD and Army logistics processes; organizational skills, personnel leadership and management skills, and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented. Well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook. Working knowledge of Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), and Integrated Logistics Application Program (ILAP) a plus. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least 12 years of job related experience or equivalent.

URS is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to assist in the development and / or maintenance of Logistical Planning Documents, Acquisition Strategies and Plans, Evaluations of Contractor Proposals, assessments of supportability, recommendations for improvement of support plans, deployment plans for delivery of systems to sites worldwide, Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Technical Orders, Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, and work specifications, to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. Assist in the development of a comprehensive supportability program for weapon systems program offices' review. Assist in the coordination of all logistics elements (e.g., spares, support equipment, technical data, training, facilities, provisioning) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the program office customer's needs. Assist as a participant in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further Government acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
Facilitate relationships with various agencies throughout the community to establish and understand the user requirements. Provide subject matter expertise to support program objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program. Provide assistance in the development, review, and finalization of reports, summaries, memoranda, and briefings for Perform studies and analysis support in Logistics Management support providing recommendations to the Government Task Lead on potential solutions for corrective actions when problems are encountered; developing and coordinating briefings, program planning documents, and status reports; reviewing documents, in-process work, providing recommendations and input for management; and preparing trip reports, technical reports, significant activity reports, meeting minutes, information papers, responses to organizational suspense's, and summary sheets.
Assist the Government to work with functional managers, outside agencies, contractor personnel, and the program office customers to support the program. Provide interface assistance with functional directorates concerning preparation of technical material, management presentations and other material in support of meetings, minutes, agendas, and compilation of briefings. Operate a system to provide assistance in the monitoring of the status of program action items and track corrective actions for program milestones goals. Analyze and implement a variety of projects ensuring complete documentary support.
