The Facilities Maintenance Department is responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the building and all equipment at the Allston Landing Facility. Facilities Maintenance is directly responsible for administering and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) utilized to plan and track assets and maintenance so as to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the facility and all equipment. Additionally, through daily tasks, Facilities Maintenance supports current project operations and site goal objectives and ensures compliance with regulatory, corporate and site requirements.
SENIOR LEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Senior/Lead Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration performs preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoots, with minimal supervision, complex utility systems which may include Refrigeration, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), steam boiler, electronic control systems, compressed air and gases, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Water For Injection (WFI) water, waste water treatment, pure/clean steam, and/or other Biotech/pharmaceuticals utilities.
Additional duties may include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing process related equipment such as agitators/mixers, chromatography columns, autoclaves, glass washers, and various sanitary design pumps and valves within a cleanroom environment. Also interprets drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs. Involved in new equipment and plant systems installs as necessary. Provide day to day technical assistance to the Engineering Services, Metrology, and Validations groups. Participates in authoring accurate documentation for the operation and maintenance of various utility systems. Supplies information and technical data for securing spare parts. Assists in general facility up keep and provide responsive customer support with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
HS diploma7-10 yrs experience working in a cGMP environment.
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision in a team environment.
Ability to perform the duties of a shift Maintenance Supervisor in the incumbents' absence.
Must have Mass Refrigeration License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for a maintenance organization in a cGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
