A key new financial management role to join the leadership team of a growing, medium-sized business based on Brisbane's southside:

Driveline Services Australia is an Australian owned and operated automotive aftermarket company with 30 years of experience in the manufacture, export, import, supply and distribution of a comprehensive range of underbody parts and services for passenger, performance, 4WD, truck, bus, agricultural and mining equipment.

 

As part of a continuing growth and expansion strategy, the company is seeking an appropriately skilled person to fill the key new role of Senior Management Accountant, to report to the General Manager.

 

The Senior Management Accountant will perform a diverse, hands-on role encompassing financial and administrative management, with specific responsibilities including:

·         Financial, statutory, compliance and audit reporting, including BAS preparation and payroll supervision

·         Compliance management (both financial and non-financial)

·         Development and maintenance of sophisticated accounting systems, provision of management reports, financial analysis, forecasting, budget preparation and high level reporting

·         Preparation and monitoring of cashflow forecasts

·         Management of company risk

·         Administration and improvement of company financial and other procedures

·         Supervision of accounts receivable and accounts payable roles

 

The successful applicant will possess:

·         A post-graduate accounting qualification (eg CA, CPA or international equivalent)

·         Strong business acumen and leadership skills

·         A knowledge of accounting standards

·         Experience in the preparation of accounts to pre-audit

·         The ability to be involved in the company’s business strategy and planning process

·         Knowledge of the Momentum Pro computer system would be an advantage

 

An attractive salary package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful applicant. The position is located in the company’s Head Office facility at Acacia Ridge on Brisbane’s southside.
