SENIOR MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT –COMPLIANCE recruitment
As a senior manager the role holder will focus on supporting or lead client projects, develop new products and services and build upon existing client relationships with the express purpose of supporting the development of the regulatory compliance practice within the Financial Services and Investment Banking markets within Scotland.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver projects and develop practice capabilities on a local and national basis.
Core Responsibilities:
- To proactively work with new and existing clients to deliver high-quality output, advice and assurance across specific subject matter including (but not limited to) operating model design and efficiency, regulatory developments and remediation activity.
- To act as a subject matter expert (SME) advising and supporting our clients in meeting FSA requirements.
- To develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
- To identify opportunities across existing and new clients and manage these accordingly.
- To support and lead local, national and firm-wide projects and initiatives.

Core Requirements:
- Graduate with Degree qualification in relevant risk management discipline.
- Relevant professional qualification is desirable (Securities Institute Diploma, etc.)
- Relevant Regulatory risk management experience in the Financial Services Sector (Banking, Insurance, Investment Management etc)
- Specific exposure to regulatory developments such as BCOBS, RDR etc.
- An understanding of industry best practice in relation to governance, risk and control issues.
- Consulting or change management experience.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Proven track record in successful delivery of large/complex projects.
- Strong relationship management skills demonstrated through professional network within.
- Experienced in presenting and communicating complex information in a variety of formats.
- A clear understanding of the macro economic environment.
