Senior Manager – Financial Control (Ref. no:SM-FC/LRP060312) recruitment
You will need to effectively manage the Financial Control area for Hong Kong and lead the team of 5 people. You will be responsible for supervising the daily management reporting for the HK branch and supervise daily treasury results for HK. You will also need to ensure provision of MIS reporting for the Group and ensure the preparation of annual budgets for Asia. You will also need to review general accounting entities on a daily basis and review head office reporting from Bank of Spain. You will also be responsible for daily FX position reports for HK and the preparation of tax schedules. This role will also need to check and review expense payments and prepare monthly expense accruals. Although this role must be responsible for the team as a whole, it will also be a hands on role and candidates must be prepared to participate in the above work as well as working in a reviewing capacity.
You will have a professional accounting qualification and a minimum of 15 years experience, with at least 10 years of this within a banking environment. You will be experienced in financial reporting and theory, government tax and accounting regulations. You will have strong leadership skills and a good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin will also be an advantage.
