Senior Manager – Treasury Accounting (SM-TA/LRP080512) recruitment
Our client is the Hong Kong branch of a leading international Assurance company. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager for Treasury Accounting.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily cash flow monitoring and reporting and also for the daily operation of unit-linked funds trading, reconciliation and valuation. You will manage the daily treasury and accounting and also accounts payable. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and prompt fund transactions and accurate fund prices are issued daily. You will be involved in new investment product launches and any system conversion involved with this. You will also need to manage the payments team and ensure the expense payment and accrual process is effective. You will be supervising a team of around 6 people and must be able to develop their skills also.
You will be experienced in treasury and investment with experience of securities/ funds. You will have good accounting knowledge with US GAAP being an advantage. You must have prior experience of managing a team and developing subordinates. You will have 5-7 years of working experience in cash and liquidity management and investments. This should include experience of fund valuation and investment accounting. You should have experience of working within a banking, insurance of funds environment.
