Job Summary
The jobholder will design and develop processes and procedures including implementation related to the areas of treasury, cash and collateral management.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyse business processes, workflow, operation processes and perform gap analysis and understand underlying business needs with focus on treasury management, cash management and collateral management.
- Evaluate information from various departments, reconcile conflicts and perform business analysis in order to identify underlying business requirements, design processes and produce specifications on treasury management, cash management and collateral management.
- Translate business requirements to functional requirements and communicate to development team / vendors / service providers.
- Develop functional specifications, use cases and workflows for complex projects.
- Lead in the development of testing plan and testing cases, user guides, training plan, and training material. Support test execution and document test results.
- Identify, report and track issues identified during the project lifecycle.
- Assist project managers in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Communicate at all levels and apply project standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree in accounting, science or financial discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years business analysis in financial institutions in relevant areas is necessary.
- Work experience in area of cash management, collateral management and treasury management business analysis in any financial services industry or consulting firms is essential.
- Have good experience and understanding on product development and operations in area of cash management, collateral management and treasury management.
- Quickly understand business initiatives, ideas and issues from management and users and present (written and verbal) in a logical manner.
- Management consulting experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, users and subject matter experts.
- Can provide leadership and serves as a role model for more junior staff.
- Good understanding of the development lifecycle and application architecture and design is desirable.
- Is able to identify critical issues and leads in providing solutions.
- A creative thinker with a strong understanding of industry practices and technologies.
- Has a good understanding of analysis methodologies and tools.
