The Role
The Senior Manager of Cardmember Engagement on the Hyatt Relationship team will be responsible for leading all Early Month on Book and Portfolio Marketing initiatives. This individual will be accountable for driving profitable customer engagement as measured by increased wallet share and decreased attrition. This position will report directly to the Director of Cardmember Engagement.
A key responsibility in this position will be to partner with program counterparts at Hyatt in developing existing customer communications and campaigns that support the joint growth initiatives of Chase and Hyatt. The Senior Manager will own creative development and campaign execution, and contribute to the direction of the overall portfolio strategy. Portfolio initiatives consist of spend and balance stimulation, Early Month on Book engagement and awareness, exclusive access event planning and execution, and rewards reinforcement, among others.
This person will also lead the tactical implementation of the marketing campaigns, which will require strong cross-functional leadership internally and at the partner. This individual will be responsible for utilizing campaign results to drive future efficiencies and improvements in customer engagement. Candidate must have strong leadership, marketing, creative, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

- 7-10 years experience in marketing strategy, creative strategy and branding with increased levels of responsibility in delivering against sales and revenue goals
- Experience in financial services and the travel industry preferred, with financial and analytical skills to manage marketing plans and budgets that meet PL objectives
- High energy leader with ability to communicate vision and drive change across various internal teams
- Logical, rational and analytical decision maker. Ability to assess multiple inputs while considering overall Chase and Hyatt strategic requirements.
- Independent thought leader - ability to identify key opportunities proactively, prioritize and then exploit
- Ability to work and effectively across different functional areas - finance, risk, operations, legal - and within the partner organization
- Some travel required
- BS required, MBA preferred
