Senior Manager
This leading Consulting Firm is looking to hire an experienced Credit Risk professional. The Risk Consulting team is well established and predominantly responsible for providing a range of clients with support to improve their risk frameworks, governance and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on an existing pipeline of projects as well as developing a portfolio of business through networking with possible clients and pitching for business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Participate and lead engagements as and when required.
- Manage the financial aspects of client engagements and communicate particular issues.
- Take a heavy involvement in the origination of new business.
- Have a strong understanding of the full range of products available to each client and ensure effective cross selling.
- Strong management experience would be a preference.
In terms of experience, you will have:
- A minimum of eight years of experience working in credit risk management for another consulting firm, professional services firm or Bank.
- Experience working on large and complicated programs of work.
- Knowledge of credit risk related capital regulations such as CRD4, Basel 3 and IMM.
- A strong understanding of frameworks.
- A network of contacts across the Risk Management space in the UK and Europe would be an advantage.
- The ability to manage a small team.
- Willingness to travel.
