About us:
Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), founded on February 28th, 1993, is one of the four futures exchanges in China and the only futures exchange in Northeast China. Approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), DCE offers a wide range of futures products including corn, No. 1 soybeans (non-gmo), No. 2 soybeans (gmo), soybean meal, soybean oil, RBD palm olein, linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) , polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and coke. Over the past 18 years, with its sound operation and quick growth, DCE has become an important futures exchange in China.
Main Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for the development of clearing operations, OTC clearing operations research, collateral management research, and clearing house risk management system research; also responsible for research and systems design for complex product security models, dynamic risk assessment system research and design, and optimizing research and design for clearing and settlement systems.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in financial engineering, quantitative economics, statistics and/or other related fields from an accredited university; doctoral degree preferred
- Experience working with domestic and international exchanges, clearing houses, clearing members and other institutions
- Detail orientated, logical thinking; strong data analysis skills and research capabilities;
- Strong analytical thinking skills; strong oral and written communication skills; team worker
- Familiarity with theoretical knowledge regarding futures
- Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in futures, securities, funds, banks and other financial institutions or large stock companies experience relevant positions. Strong leadership, organization, and coordination skills and research capacity; if equipped post-doctoral qualifications, limit on work experience does not apply.
