Reporting to the Director, Army, Marines SOCOM Business Development, Boeing Electronics Mission Systems, the successful candidate will provide leadership for business growth. The successful candidate will lead a business development team in developing and executing the growth strategy and business capture/campaign plans to meet Boeing Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) goals. The candidate possesses a proven track record of business capture and growth and a demonstrated ability to develop customer intimacy from General Officer level down. Through customer intimacy, the selected candidate will develop a deep understanding of emerging customer/market requirements in the C4ISR, Force Protection, and SIGINT/COMINT market space with initial focus on building customer relationships at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, especially US Army Research, Development Engineering Command (RDECOM), US Army Test Evaluation Command (ATEC), US Army Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Sensors Reconnaissance Team (C4ISR), Program Executive Office Integration (PEO I), PEO -Intelligence Electronic Weapons Sensors (PEO EWS), and PEO Command, Control, Communications Tactical(PEO C3T). Based on an understanding of the customer and market, the candidate will work with customers to actively shape market requirements and position Boeing to capture opportunities through focused capture strategies. Demonstrated leadership in both campaign strategy development and execution for U.S. Army customers is critical. This individual will routinely interface with a diverse and geographically dispersed team while building and leveraging close working relationships with the Boeing Government Relations office, Boeing field offices and the EMS program team - so the proven ability to lead and work together is a must. This individual will also be required to interface with senior military officers, government officials within DoD, Congress and other U.S. Government agencies so the ability to represent the company with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity is a must. The candidate will have a detailed understanding of the DoD, C4ISR, and Army customer sets as well as key stakeholders within the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint staffs and Army Staff acquisition communities. An extensive understanding and proficiency in DoD acquisition and budget processes is also required. The candidate manages employees in planning, developing and managing sales and marketing campaigns. Candidate must be able to set priorities, establish a strategy, align resources, and execute business capture plans. The candidate develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives; develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports; provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and process; and manages, develops and motivates employees.
