Senior Manager – Business Management recruitment

With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East, MacCap provides a depth of services including specialist capabilities in:
- Mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and corporate restructuring advice
- Equity capital markets, equity and debt capital management and raising
- Specialised funds management (including infrastructure and real estate funds)
- Debt structuring and distribution
- Private equity placements
- Principal products
The Business Management Team, based in Sydney, is responsible for the ongoing management and reporting of Macquarie Capital's global profitability including forecasting and budgeting, managing the global transfer pricing process, debtor management, revenue attribution process as well as ongoing Ad-hoc analysis. This includes:
- Revenue pipeline management, including monthly liaison with a matrix of Regional and Industry Group contacts
- Managing the MacCap Advisers Transfer Pricing (TP) framework, co-ordination of the quarterly entity allocation processes and on-going entity and TP
- Monthly detailed reporting to the Group Head, Industry Group and Regional Heads, as well as reporting to the Global EDs
- Management of Australian Invoicing and the deal Out Of Pocket process
- Liquidity Reporting as well as other Ad-hoc requests
- Oversight of the Sydney Business Management Team, consisting of 4 executives.
To succeed in this role you will:
- have a commercially focused background with an understanding of MA, ECM and debt markets
- demonstrate excellent communication, relationship building and team management skills
- be pro-active and have good attention to detail
- have the ability to remain organised in a dynamic environment
- work effectively to meet tight deadlines
- possess an appropriate accounting qualification
- possess above average excel skills
- tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field
- ideally, CA or CIMA qualified
