This is an outstanding opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery of the tactical and strategic capitial initiatives across this key business. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust capital management practices and systems to provide strategic insight into the capital financial performance. You will coordinate and enhance the capital forecasting capability to drive efficient capital management.
Key responsibilities:
- Capital management process, ensuring appropriate forecasting and internal management of available capital including quarterly and annual processes
- Management of equity related transactions
- Enhancement and maintenance of the capital forecast model
- Strong collaboration with Finance teams on capital
- Manage scenario analysis and stress testing on capital forecasts
- Develop capital allocation and performance monitoring e.g Return On Capital and Return On Risk Based Capital measures
- Enhance and drive dividend and capital return analysis
- Prepare capital reporting and analysis on monthly/ ad hoc basis for ALCO
- Develop competitor analysis and market reporting
- Enhancement and monitoring of KPI's for Working Capital Cash Management functions in conjunction with Finance and Group Performance Management
- Manage reporting to and present to Group ALCO's, Boards and presentations with external bodies
Requirements:
- CA or CPA qualified with five years+ post qualified experience
- Recent experience within financial services
- Strong capital management experience
- Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Strong understanding regulatory requirements within financial services
