Senior Manager, Central Finance
Overview
Coordinate Financial Risk's monthly close process with inputs from Accounting Operations, Revenue Assurance, and Business Sectors to validate the Flash results. Serve as the central finance group liaison for Accounting Operations to ensure proper accounting treatment on complex transactions. Working with global accounting operations team and TR corporate, monitor the consolidated balance sheet and free cash flow statement for Financial Risk as a whole ensuring that forecasts and plan targets are supported by robust analysis and variances are adequately researched and explained. Ensure that publicly reported results for the Financial Risk business are reconclied to underlying books and records and that reconciling differences due to currencies and other factors are supported and accurate.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve financial reporting adjustments before they are loaded to production.
- Review and approve Core vs. Acquisition growth templates for quarterly reporting.
- Review and approve monthly cash flow results and forecasts.
- Validate external reporting for Press Releases, MDA and other publicly reported information as it pertains to Financial Risk.
- Work with the Accounting Policy team to document and implement accounting for complex trasactions.
- Review and approve daily Flash results suring the monthly close.
- Review and approve monthly flux analysis pursuant to SOX control requirements.

Skills
Required Skills
- A minimum of eight years experience in public accounting or industry with at least 3 years of management experience.
- Proven experience in management information systems and design and implementation of information technology solutions for finance.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with complex global operations is a plus.
- Strong technical competence in financial control, reporting and accounting
- An effective leader with a strong people focus.
- A strong influencing style and mature attitude with the experience and expertise to work as a partner with other senior managers of the company.
- Well organised and disciplined, with the capacity to prioritise and deal with a wide range of complex business issues.
- A team player, with proven ability to build and influence, build relationships and focus resources to deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and in personal presentation.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred.
