Senior Manager, Claims Test Management
Positions belonging to the ROC Xcelys Program will support the implementation of infrastructure and deployment of a National Claims platform. This project will consolidate all Claims systems throughout ROC Regions and streamline business practices across multiple departments and functions. Essential Functions: - Manages all aspects of testing for the ROC Claims program, including both business and IT testing. - Effectively maintain and build relationships across business groups. - Leads the development of program testing strategies and methodology. - Responsible for the quality of testing-related deliverables for the project and ensures that each deliverable meets the completion criteria. - Develops solutions that align with strategic direction and standards. - Negotiates agreement on project schedule and budgets as they relate to testing functions. - Applies methods or recognized equivalents appropriate to the specific needs for the project/client. - Manages the testing teams to ensure successful implementation of the ROC Claims programs, meeting quality criteria. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale testing efforts for software implementation and customization projects. - Minimum 3 years of management experience - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage large testing efforts with geographically diverse teams. - Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives. - Demonstrated experience managing teams using both manual test methods and automated testing tools, including the management of data to support automated testing scripts. - Proven experience in managing complex projects frommulti-disciplinary perspectives. - Understand all project life cycle phases and applies knowledge in the delivery of testing phases within the project lifecycle. - Highly proficient in the use of Project Management tools such as MS Project, and MS Office - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
