Due to an internal promotion a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Risk Manager from an OTC risk background to join one of the most reputable Financial services organisations in Sydney.
This fantastic role has a clearly defined career path for the successful candidate through on going exposure and personable development.
The main focus of this role will include:
- Development of high level policy from a structural and economic point of view
- Risk mitigation: You will possess the ability to explain to Senior Management risk findings, to interpret mathematical analysis, to draw conclusions and to escalate issues where appropriate
- Managing a small team of analysts
- Meeting of regulatory requirements
- Ensuring the risk control framework reflects risk appetite
- Management of internal stake holder requests
As the successful candidate for the role you will possess the following:
- Financial Markets Operations background - Derivatives
- Outstanding communication skills are essential as this role has a stakeholder focus
- Business development/sales experience
- You will have proven analytical experience across credit or market risk coupled with the ability to draft and explain analysis
- Previous policy experience -reviewing or updating
