Senior Manager, Group MA, FTSE 100 business.
Our client is a FTSE 100 business, who are now looking to add a Senior Manager to their corporate development team. This high profile group works on the execution of non-organic growth initiatives for the group worldwide.
Role responsibilities:
The role will involve the following responsibilities:
Advise on appropriate acquisition and merger targets and acquisition/merger strategy for the Group and individual regions within the context of the overall Group strategy.
Origination of new MA transactions for the Group and individual regions within the context of Group strategy.
Implementation and negotiation of MA transactions within the framework of an approved acquisition process and provision of recommendations as to the appropriateness of the transaction for Group.
Commercial advice and support on appropriate corporate transactions to the Chief Financial Officer, CFD Director and Hub MD’s / FD’s.
Candidate background:
They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
Investment banking professionals, probably with at least six years MA experience from top investment banks. You will probably be at the Senior Associate to VP level or similar
Corporate development professionals from other groups, with six years + deal making experience
Private equity professionals looking to make a move into a corporate development role
Senior Manager/ Assistant Director/ similar candidates from the major accounting firms, where you will have worked on corporate finance advisory or MA
