We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Real Estate (CRE) to provide strategic input into CRE decisions, property and facility management and the location of new sites.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and negotiating leases rental determinations to meet the bank's accommodation requirements;
- Assisting with strategic planning from a property perspective, managing internal relationships and communicating practical elements of the strategic plan;
- Managing multiple projects across all areas of responsibility, including renovation and fit out of retail and office space;
- General management and administration of the Corporate Real Estate and Administration teams;
- Ensuring that new supplier agreements are negotiated to implement terms, conditions and pricing that will maximize commercial benefit, minimise risk and move as many suppliers as possible to e-procurement.
- Ensuring adherence to all compliance, operational risk and applicable procedures.
Skills
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Property or Construction);
- Extensive corporate property experience with demonstrated expertise in valuation, negotiation, project management, procurement, legal and accounting;
- A sound understanding of banking and finance, ideally obtained through direct work experience in the sector;
- A proven track record of effectively leading teams;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively deal with all levels of stakeholders.
