Senior Manager – Credit Research/Portfolio Manager, Asian Bank recruitment
Our client is a well established Asian Bank with very strong presences in regional markets. They are currently seeking a Senior Manager with a proven track record to join them responsible for undertaking Investment Grade Credit Research and Portfolio Management duties in their Asia Asset Liability Management team.
On behalf of the bank, you will be responsible for:
- Specific industry coverage and perform credit and industry analysis for investment grade corporates and Basel 3 eligible assets in Asia
- Work with fellow research analyst /PMs to source new investment opportunities and making profitable trade recommendations
- Co-ordinate with fellow research analyts /PMs to prioritize execute trades.
- Assist in the management of positions (including bond exposures, hedges, etc).
- Develop market-based monitoring tools to provide early warning of credit deterioration and active performance tracking.
- Participate in portfolio and industry review process.
Requirements
The right candidate will have at least 5- 7 years experience from an Asset Management team or buy side covering Asian corporate credit analysis and a proven positive track record in managing the portfolio itself in an Asian environment.
Strong knowledge of Basel regulations (and its impact) will be an added advantage. We expect the candidate to demonstrate execellent analytical and credit skills.
Being a strong team player will also be critical to being successful on the role. Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage. Candidates based locally will be given piorty given the urgency of this role.
