The Senior Manager, Direct and Bank Insurance Marketing role has been created to drive the marketing strategy the groups Insurance Solutions, across Direct Life and General insurance, that are sold predominately to customers via Bank distribution channels.
The role is responsible for planning, leading and executing the marketing related activities that drive the strategic objectives both the General and Life Insurance businesses; cash earnings, customer advocacy of each brand, the market share of each business and the customer experience.
This is a senior role that has been created to ensure there is the right level of strategic focus for marketing and customer experience and has specific deliverables and targets that are quantifiable and highly visible.
Your Responsibilities
- The end to end accountability of the development, management, and execution of the Direct and Bank Insurance marketing strategy and activity plan.
- Oversight and execution of the Direct and Bank Insurance marketing strategies that align to the retail and business banks' marketing strategy.
- Driving customer acquisition and retention - particularly focusing on revenue generating activities, the depth of relationships with the Banks' customers, helping to drive retention of all customers and earn all of their business.
- Leading the team to be data-driven on all campaigns to achieve lead, sales, conversion and KPI's.
- Driving a quality, consistent and measurable approach to all marketing activities.
- Management and execution of the campaign effectiveness and reporting.
- Leading the team to drive a mixture of campaigns across multiple. channels including branch, call centres and online to effectively manage cost per acquisition.
- Building effective relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure there is on-going engagement and buy-in of the strategy and activity plan.
- Champion, within the General and Life Insurance businesses, the distinctiveness of each banking brand - ensuring the group maximises the efficiencies of being under one division but protects and enhances the brand essence of each brand.
Your Background
- 7+ years in marketing experience - preferably some experience working with the Retail Banking segment.
- Highly capable marketing skills specifically in regards to marketing strategy, CVP development and integrated campaign management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on being able to work in a highly collaborative environment supporting multiple business units.
- Strong business acumen.
- Preferably experience in high-volume Direct marketing and Telemarketing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current market conditions, factors impacting business performance and competitor performance products.
- Proven track record and experience of financial products, a strong background in insurance would be advantageous given the aggressive growth agenda.
- Preferably a Business/Commerce/Marketing Degree.
