Senior Manager / Director – Finance — Global Banking recruitment
We are currently looking for candidates with experience in the Global Banking sector to join our Finance for Financial Services team. Supporting top tier clients in this sector, you will be hands on in helping them successfully transform their Finance functions and deliver their strategic objectives.

Working closely alongside the leadership team you'll have a unique opportunity to influence and shape the strategic development of our team. About You
You will have deep experience in the Global Banking industry. This will have been obtained either within a Finance line role or in a consulting/advisory capacity within a professional services firm. You will demonstrate an excellent appreciation of the commercial, financial and risk related impacts of regulatory driven change. A strong communicator, you will have the ability to further develop your relationships and convey the need for change in an inspiring way.
Immediate projects may involve:
- Redesigning areas of the Finance operating models
- Working with clients to understand the implications of regulatory directives on their Finance systems and reporting processes and supporting architecture
- Managing work projects on time with appropriate use of resource and ensuring delivery risk is appropriately managed
- Demonstrating knowledge of client decision making and support processes and key client business drivers
- Identifying impacts and trends of client cost structure
- Performing financial analysis
- Manage and develop staff on projects
- Business development within the Global Banking industry
You will have:
- An excellent working knowledge of Global Banking products from a Finance perspective
- Deep knowledge of Financial Accounting and Management Reporting practices and challenges within Global Banking industry
- An understanding of how Finance and Risk functions work together within the Global Banking industry
- Strong relationships in the Global Banking industry
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Proven track record of business development
- Minimum 2.1 Degree or equivalent
- Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Relevant experience of finance transformation
- Experience in core consulting disciplines such as Business Process re-engineering (Lean / Six Sigma skills desirable), Organisational re-design, Business analysis or Project Management
