Senior Manager – Fixed Income Operations recruitment
Sitting within Wholesale Market Operations the settlements team manages the settlement processes in place for all Bonds and GILTS transacted by WBM through the various ICSDs (Euroclear) and CSDs. The successful candidate will be responsible for 3 direct reports in a wider team of 14.
Be part of the Capital Markets Operations leadership team which collectively, is responsible for supporting all Primary and Secondary bond activity undertaken by Capital Markets, WBM Trading and WBM Sales. Other important aspects of the role will be working in partnership with other Wholesale Markets Operations functional units, translate business plans into a clear functional strategy, contributing to the Operations Operating Plan which is in line with the overall strategy of the Wholesale Bank.
Other duties will be to own and manage all relevant relationships within the Group ensuring WM Operations is working in partnership with all relevant parties. Keep abreast of industry developments appropriate to business area and the wider market and understand how the external environment, including the regulatory landscape will influence change in the area
The role requires strong managerial experience to Lead, motivate, develop and appraise all team members to ensure their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business, liaising with HR as appropriate to ensure that the people policies and strategies support local business direction and initiatives
