Senior Manager, FP&A recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Lead UKHL planning and reporting activities for GE planning cycles (OP, GPB SII), short range outlooks (weekly net income pacing) and monthly closes
- Provide updates to all business stakeholders and manage HQ relationships; lead management presentations for business operating reviews, regulators, investor relations credit rating agencies
- Drive continuous process improvements in order to deliver accurate and timely forecasts in an efficient manner
- Lead commercial margin opportunities for UKHL; test drive targeted actions with operational teams to improve PL results or optimize ENI
- Partner with Finance other functions to monitor and drive financial performance execute on common business goals
- Provide financial analysis and insight in support of business decision making needs, including evaluation of major risks and opportunities
- Effectively manage/coordinate/develop a talented team of 8 finance professionals
- Ensure Integrity is upheld throughout all processes, policies and practices, by ensuring appropriate communication, training and prioritization of related activities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of 7 years of financial work experience including developing forecasts operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
-Advanced knowledge of Financial modelling (Excel), reporting systems and presentation tools (Power Point)
-Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
-Process oriented / problem solving skills: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
-Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), and functions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.

-Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values

The role is based in Watford.
