The Senior Manager of GIT Security Technology Architecture, reporting to the Mattel Chief of Information Security, will lead efforts to manage the Company's strategic security technology for the future. GIT Security Technology Architecture will continually collaborate with GIT and business leadership to develop and maintain technologies and processes toward the desired Information Security end-state. The Senior Manager will work with all of the GIT functional, process and technical leaders to build and deliver an appropriate GIT Security Technology Architecture, including evaluation of emerging technologies. This architecture will serve as a framework to guide GIT Security investment decisions across the organization.

The Senior Manager is responsible for development, delivery, and ongoing updates to the GIT Security Technology Architecture, working with the businesses and functional groups to evaluate and integrate requirements, obtaining approval of the technology strategy by stakeholders, and ensuring that the technology is implemented appropriately.

GIT Security Technology Architecture Objectives:

' Develop and drive an appropriate security technology architecture
Evaluate security technologies, understand company business requirements around information security, and craft a technology architecture to meet those needs.
' Provide Information Security Thought Leadership Business Innovation
Support business information security requirements by evaluating and introducing emerging technologies, tools, and techniques to support business goals and GIT services
' Improve Consistency of Information Security processes
Ensure improved consistency by identifying risk throughout the business and risk mitigation plans for prioritization with the Chief of Information Security, the Mattel Security Council, and Mattel GIT.
' Identify Business drivers
Work directly with business representatives to identify risks to business information assets and fold business requirements into the overarching GIT Security Technology Architecture
' Develop Business Relationships
Improve GIT Security business relationships through direct interfacing, clear communication, business involvement in decision making and prioritization, and obtaining of feedback from business and functional leaders.

Principle Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will drive efforts to develop and maintain a strategic GIT Security Technology Architecture that clearly defines the risks to information assets, GIT Security prioritization of those risks, and mitigation plans. This architecture will be maintained to ensure alignment with Mattel business goals and changes.

Short Long - Term Accountabilities:
' As the GIT Security leader responsible for the strategic technology architecture, work with IT functional business leaders to synthesize information security strategies into a comprehensive technology blueprint against which GIT can execute.
' Develop strong relationships with GIT leadership to develop strategic and effective Information Security solutions.
' Develop strong relationships with Mattel business leaders to ensure GIT Security strategic plans align with business goals and reflect appropriate responses to information asset risks.
' Provide support to the GIT leadership and to technical staff to understand the scope and requirements to solve and deliver key Information Security programs; when necessary, assist with the design and development of interim solutions consistent with the strategic plan.
' Develop communication materials to ensure the understanding and approval of the GIT Security Technology Architecture by all appropriate IT staff.
' Work with GIT leadership and any external consulting partners to identify solutions that are aligned with the GIT Security Technology Architecture.
' Work with the various application portfolio stakeholders to identify opportunities to retire legacy systems.

Required Experience and Education:
' Demonstrated track record of significant accomplishment in Information Security Technology.
' Demonstrated deep knowledge of current Information Security technology capabilities and trends across applications and infrastructure.

' Commanding knowledge of Information Security best practices.
' Skills in a variety of operating systems, including Windows and Unix, including the ability to write scripts and understand security configuration issues with those platforms.
' 10+ years experience in Information Security Technology and/or strategy.
' B.S. degree in computer science or related technical field; Master's level graduate degree preferred.
' CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification preferred,
' Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex organizational initiatives involving multiple functions and multiple business units/regions. Includes the identification and articulation of problems, influencing the decision-making process as well as delivery of expected results.
