Senior Manager, Global Employment Taxes recruitment
This world-leading FTSE100 consumer goods company is looking to grow their team by recruiting a Senior Manager, Global Employment Taxes.
Reporting to the UK Team Leader in Group tax, you will be responsible for all proactive strategic employment tax management (compliance planning) for the UK and evolve into a global remit to ensure best practice is adhered to in compliance with the various tax systems.
Your main accountabilities will include:
- Managing risk associated with group reorganisation and ensuring compliance with PAYE and NIC obligations. This will include initiating and overseeing best practice regarding payroll tax compliance (vis a vis the UK tax authorities) and ensuring all relevant personnel are appropriately trained and/or supported;
- Negotiate with UK tax authorities regarding audits and proactively identify opportunities to minimise the group's compliance burden;
- Advise on methods to reduce the Employment Tax burden, taking advantage of planning opportunities.
Requirements:
You will be ACA / ATII qualified and have extensive technical knowledge of UK taxes (PAYE and NIC), Compensation and Benefits, Year-end reporting, PSA reporting, expenses management, etc. You will also have a track record of managing PAYE audits and have Knowledge of HMRC approved pension arrangements.
