Senior Manager – Group Financial Reporting recruitment

The Group Financial Reporting team is responsible for Macquarie's external financial reporting. The team is responsible for the Group's Annual and Half-Yearly Financial Report and controls the consolidation of Macquarie's business groups. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to lead a team and liaise with senior executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of group consolidated financial statements
- ASX reporting
- Liaison with the group's external auditors
- Managing the overall group consolidation process
- Lead and develop a team
- Various ad-hoc projects to support the on-going needs of the group as a whole
A qualified accountant (CA) with demonstrable (5yrs+) post qualified experience; you will have strong technical accounting skills and exposure to Group Reporting for a listed ASX 100 company. You will demonstrate strong Consolidation knowledge / experience and those with an understanding of the Investment Banking and/or Trading business will be favourably regarded.
