Senior Manager Industrial Solutions Job in Munich
We are looking to hire a highly motivated strategic thinking Manager for our office in Munich who will be supporting the strategic ambition to be the world’s leading solar producer.
This new position, will set up a new business selling PV modules, at a higher level in the value chain, by finding opportunities in customization of the standard product and a such achieve a higher profitability, than selling the standard module as product. This requires an excellent understanding of methodology in value selling, evaluating feasibility of opportunities with Product Marketing and RD in Singapore and working with the sales offices on identifying prospects, moving through the project pipeline up to closing and executing delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and participate in identifying and developing new projects, to offer modules in a solution (add-on to modules or customized modules) with the aim to gain more margin, than selling the basic modules as product.
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals, in conjunction with sales staff in the sales offices, through direct customer contact or stakeholder support within assigned segment or region, by finding high value / margin opportunities for Solar Modules / Solutions.
- Create Demand: through use of coordinated activities with marketing, sales offices, business development, to grow a maintain a project pipeline.
- Work closely on feasibility, as well as technical, manufacturing and economically, with relevant departments within REC.
- Review opportunities in pipeline: evaluate active opportunities and set and follow up action plan to move them to Close.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bid development: involvement in preparation of complex technical proposals, including high level planning and estimation of effort required for implementation.
