Senior Manager- Insurance recruitment
• To direct, supervise and co-ordinate Insurance Group activities, including Underwriting, Marketing, Reinsurance, Safety and Risk Management functions.
• Provide strategic support to GM in developing and implementing aggressive growth plans for the business.
• Assist the GM to develop Business Plans and Strategic Plans
• Drive New Product Development and Process Improvement through understanding customer and partner needs.
• Co-ordinate with various businesses corporate functions such as Legal, HR, IT, Finance etc as required.
• Drive profitability and cost control.
• Evaluating the need and evaluating the benefit of reinsurance arrangements, and executing once approved
Looking for :
• General Management experience, as Senior Manager or AGM of well known insurer, or GM of smaller insurer. Prior PL responsibility preferred.
• Expertise in general insurance, with a preference for Motor experience.
• Innovative mindset, with prior experience of New Product Development, preferably across multiple general insurance lines.
• Multi-channel experience, preferably with Online, Direct Marketing and bancassurance experience.
• Experience of insurance industry across multiple countries.
• Expertise in arranging re-insurance for a general insurer.
• Team Management experience mandatory.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Business Management, Marketing or Economics from a recognized University.
• Professional insurance qualification viz. ACII (Chartered Institute of Insurance) or equivalent.
• 10+ year’s relevant experience in insurance, with at least 5 years in a Managerial position.
• Candidates must have insurance experience within developed markets
