Senior Manager – Investment Mgmt recruitment
This established life insurer, with a strong presence in Europe and Asia, is seeking to secure an experience candidate to join their regional Investments Corporate Finance team
Assisting the Regional Director, this role will involve establishing and maintaining an adequate Investment Management framework and oversight on the investment management activities in Asia.
Responsibilities:
Assist Director, Investment Management Corporate Finance, Asia in establishing and overseeing development in the following domains:
- Investment Management
- Corporate Finance
- Assist and value-add to the framework, processes and execution of Investment Management functions of operating companies (life, non-life, asset-management companies) in the region, including structuring asset-based ALM solutions, and product development for unit-linked and universal-life products.
- Participate in liaising MA activities and other corporate actions in the region and provide technical support in the assessment and execution of Business Development opportunities in the region.
- Help organise exchange of information and best practices throughout the region.
- Deliver support for initiatives/projects, determined by the reporting units, where transfer of knowledge, experiences, products, software,
- Prepare documents and analysis to support discussions at the Insurance Management Committee with specific focus on Investment Management Activities.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in the areas of Investment Management. Knowledge of and experience in corporate finance would be an advantage.
- Masters in Financial Engineering or CFA preferred.
- Excellent financial modeling (Excel) and Power Point skills.
- Experience in an international environment.
- Conversant in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
