Senior Manager, Investor Relations
Position Description Organizes and supports multiple investor relations events, including but not limited to the analyst meeting at the annual shareholders meeting, the international analyst field trip, the fall analyst and investor meeting, executive presentations/marketing trips, events with the NYSE, analyst and investor store tours domestic and international. Develops briefing books and training materials for executives. Gathers and processes research into analyst and investor communication, including press releases and reports about Walmart's operating segments (Walmart U.S., Walmart Int'l, Sam's Club) for external communications, such as real estate transitions and global format development. Develops communications pieces, including quarterly reports, for updates to officers through eLeader website. Assists in production of annual report, and the printing and electronic publishing of the interactive report. Assists in research related to analyst and investor questions, monitors media coverage, and develops briefing books in preparation for executive - investor interactions. Provides shareholder analysis through Thomson, as well as ongoing analysis and financial modeling of sell-side analyst reports. Analyze competitive reports. Manage all website communications through development of original materials for IR portion of corporate website, and through coordination with Corporate Affairs. Serves as daily representative for corporate affairs updates (two-way reporting).
