Senior Manager – Islamic Syndication recruitment

The role holder is also responsible for working closely with the Functional Head/Team Leader and team members to develop and grow long-term relationships with local and international large corporates, government quasi-govt entities and understand client needs to optimize earnings by cross selling products on offer.

Developing a strategy and an operational plan for ensuring achievement of asset expansion and revenue targets across fund and fee based products from a targeted base of corporate banking clients. Ensuring timely renewal of portfolio of accounts assigned and arranging to obtain and review related information for the same for the credit analysis unit. Ensuring provision of high quality and timely services to clients. 

Evaluating new offers received from other banks for participation in the Syndicated deals.  Coordinating with the Credit Analysts team and supporting staff in the on-going delivery/coordination to deliver within timelines. Where necessary seeking extension in timeline from MLA/Agent.

Originating and book running of Syndication transactions.  Originating activities across syndication business lines and ensuring efficient and effective delivery within deadlines.  Liasoning with legal counsels for the satisfactory documentation of the syndication deals and compliance of CPs and security documents. 

Making calls on the banks and syndication /bi-lateral Islamic prospects to solicit new business relationships.  Supervising/coordinating with CAD for compliance of all Financial Covenants, where applicable. 

Attending to client enquiries and ensuring prompt turnaround.  Maintaining and growing relationships with key customers .  Communicating effectively with various departments of the bank.

Atleast 8-10 years of work experience in the banking sector of which at least 3 years connected in a relation management role in UAE.
