SENIOR MANAGER Job in New York 10017, New York Us

SENIOR MANAGER

Changing Our World, Inc., one of the leading international philanthropic consulting firms in the world, is seeking a senior manager to join our Corporate Social Engagement practice in New York City.

Organization Overview

Founded in 1999, Changing Our World is today among the largest and most successful consulting firms dedicated to philanthropy. Our unique business model consists of three areas of practice - Corporate Social Engagement, Fundraising, and Interactive Services - which enables us to draw from the appropriate experiences and capacities of each in designing solutions for our clients which range from corporations to nonprofits to private philanthropies. We combine deep experience with an evidence-based approach, helping our clients to create tailored strategies that enable them to achieve their philanthropic goals.

With over 100 professionals on staff, we operate from five offices: our headquarters in New York City and our regional offices in London, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Boston. As part of the Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), Changing Our World is the only firm of our kind that is part of a Fortune 200 company. This relationship gives our clients insights to world-class public relations, communications, marketing, branding, and advertising expertise.

Practice Overview

Our Corporate Social Engagement team specializes in helping clients develop and implement comprehensive strategies to meet social, business and stakeholder demands in a way that reflects the brand, people and values unique to each company. Our philosophy is that, when done right, corporate social engagement can be synonymous with business success.

We provide services and counsel to Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries with both global and national reach. Our team leverages its expertise in strategic planning, program design and implementation, partnership development, grants management, measurement, operations enhancements, and integration to lead corporations in their ability to maximize results and impact. Through strategic counsel, we seek to bring clarity and substance to our clients' corporate community involvement vision and programs. We believe that, above all else, a company's support of causes and communities must be credible and authentic.

The economic crisis has affected corporate giving and foundation programs in a variety of ways over the last two years. Budgets have fluctuated up and down, cause area alignment has shifted to better address pressing community needs, and greater emphasis has been placed on narrowing the focus of strategies and bolstering meaningful employee-volunteer opportunities. Despite resource constraints and the need to balance competing priorities, companies still see strategic community involvement as an effective strategy for differentiation and a means to earn back trust with consumers and employees. Lasting and emerging trends are shaping the field and ushering corporate social engagement programs into a new realm of innovation and creativity. Our business model is unique in the sector, and the range of services and diversified client base provides Changing Our World’s Corporate Social Engagement practice with the skills to position our clients for maximum success. That is why an increasing number of corporations have turned to Changing Our World for consultative services.
