The Cloud Technology Team Practice Manager is a critical focal point to internal and external customers. The primary responsibility of the Cloud Technology Team Practice Manager is to drive the cloud strategy by partnering with presales, IT, performance engineering, and other various teams. The Practice Manager is expected to manage all solution architecture and build management resources and functions for effective, timely, efficient, high quality Workforce Central Cloud Hosting designs, builds, and deliveries. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to establish standards, guidelines, templates, and other associated service delivery tools and methodologies to ensure the proper pre-sales support through successful build of cloud hosted customers

• Lead and mentor solution architects in support of the sales process for cloud solutions that result in sound application architecture designs that articulate the needs of the customer within a proven and supportable framework

• Lead and mentor build managers (primary hosting services resource) responsible for driving timely and successful creation of infrastructure for their assigned customers

• Liaise with IT Lifecycle Manager and IT Infrastructure to provide guidance in capacity planning based on pipeline of upcoming cloud solutions requiring delivery

• Collect inputs and prepare weekly and monthly status reports as required. Explain any deviations from planned budgets and schedules. In addition, prepare and support quarterly management reviews.

• Partner with professional services leadership to ensure proper alignment of resources and process adherence resulting in high quality, low risk, and efficient delivery

• Drive the cloud service portfolio roadmap, strategy, design, and pricing for cloud service offerings

• Anticipate problems or situations that could affect the team. Assess the potential impact on own and others' work, and develop and execute the best work solution. Manage escalated situations.

• Other project management support functions, as tasked.

- 12 to 15 years of combined project/practice management (preferred) work experience.
- Experience managing a team of cloud solution architects and cloud hosting build managers (delivery managers) and associated PL highly desirable
- Broad knowledge of labor management, ERP, or similar domain product/systems.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of the following technologies (virtualization, firewalls, routers, backup devices, networking, security, intrusion detection, disaster recovery) required.
- Understanding/experience with the following Kronos technologies/services (Kronos application architecture sizing and Kronos application management design and support) preferred but not required.
- Experience in cloud solution sales cycles including but not limited to contract service level agreement negotiation
- Experience leading the design of cloud hosting and application management solution offerings to bring to market
- Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports.
- Superb written and oral skills required (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team.
- Experience working with a distributed global team
- Ability to perform multiple tasks ranging from project management to coaching other team members.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% on a regular basis.
