Senior Manager, Listing
Review and recommend to the relevant committee for decision on applications for initial listings (IPO) and reverse take-over on the Market to facilitate timely and efficient capital raising exercise in equity capital market.
Job Responsibilities
- monitor of sponsors compliance with the LR including their responsibility relating to listed issuers
- analyze and make recommendation for approval for the following applications (relating to IPO and reverse take-over); waiver for complying with LR, extension of time to comply with the LR, modification to the LR, terminations of sponsors by listed issuers, resignation of sponsors to facilitate business efficiency whilst ensuring investor’s interest is protected
- provide consultancy and advisory services on the application and interpretation of the LR to potential issuers, listed issuers undertaking reverse take-over, sponsors, promoters and other including pre-application consultations
- establish and develop the Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP") to ensure consistency of decision, clarity and parity in processing of application and monitoring of compliance with the LR
- monitor, analyze and evaluate trends, issues and problems and formulate changes and make policies recommendation to achieve pro-active regulation
- propose idea in planning and developing new strategy for efficient processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory services to be consistent with international best practices
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Financial Services particularly in the area of Corporate Finance.
Key Requirements
- must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration or other related discipline
- experience in dealing with regulatory matters and regulators in the Capital Markets
- in-depth understanding of Capital Markets, relevant laws and Malaysian Regulatory environment
- strategic, analytical, and have a good business acumen
