Senior Manager / Manager

Our client, a major wholesale bank with a strong focus on corporate and investment banking businesses in the Asia Pacific region is looking to hire 2 motivated and passionate individual to join their corporate communication team.

 

Internal Corporate Communications:

·         Initiate and drive key internal communications programmes that will inform and engage more than 7,000 staff within the Asia / Oceania region.

·         Organising staff engagement events such as townhalls, dialogue sessions, staff newsletters and CSR activities to engage employees to be committed to the Bank’s overall aspirations, business and strategic plans and corporate brand mission and values.  

·         Leverage on various communication channels (such as web-based / e-communication / interactive tools) to better reach out to the employees.

·         Manage change communications develop key messages to support delivery of the brand promise.

 

External Corporate Communications:

·         Initiate and drive key external communications programmes that will raise the profile of the Bank in Asia / Oceania region, with primary focus in Singapore.

·         Build, enhance and protect the reputation of the Bank by establishing and maintaining good media relations with key local and regional media, developing key messages and preparing the Bank’s spokespersons in the region to meet and share the Bank’s Asia growth strategy stories. 

·         Assist with key corporate initiatives and CSR activities as part of the Bank’s overall aspirations, business and strategic plans and corporate brand mission and values.  

·         Assist regional leaders with internal/external speeches, as well as external press engagements.

·         Develop and support regional level crisis communications readiness.

 

The ideal candidate should be degree qualified preferably with Communications / Journalism specialisation with at least 7-10 years of corporate communication, branding and positioning experience; media savvy; access of corporate social responsible enterprises and organisations; strong appreciation of culture and values, mindsets, behaviours, processes and leadership; experienced supporting HR business agenda in driving business engagement.
