Senior Manager / Manager – Listing Operations (Debts & Derivatives) (Market Monitoring) recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for leading the development and implementation of post-listing programme for monitoring (i) trading activities of structured products and (ii) performance of structured products issuers and liquidity providers.
- To carry out proactive monitoring of structured products issuers' compliance with the Listing Rules and committed liquidity providing obligations
- To identify unusual trading activities and conduct enquiries
- To perform analytical review of trading data and issuers' performance records and determine appropriate follow up actions
- To conduct an assessment of investors' complaints and determine appropriate course of action
- To monitor development of the structured products industry and identify industry trends and risks for policy formulation
Requirements:
- University Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- At least 8 years' relevant experience in securities / derivatives operations of well-established financial organizations
- Strong market knowledge of practices, regulations and operations of the structured products industry, in particular derivative warrants and callable bull / bear contracts
- Strong in data analysis and empirical study
- Good knowledge of financial engineering, derivatives trading, clearing system and risk management
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Candidates with lesser experience and qualification will be considered for a lower level
