Senior Manager / Manager – (OTC Derivatives Operations / Collateral Management) recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent will work in the OTC Clearing Operations Department to support the development of the new CCP (Central Counterparty Clearing) business and assist in day-to-day operations and administration. He / She is expected:
- To assist the head of OTC Clearing Operations on the development and implementation of the new CCP
- To assist in the day-to-day operations and administration of the department, and handle admission of clearing participants
- To assist in execution of policies, rules and regulations professionally and effectively, ensure provision of high quality and reliable services to participants and minimize operational risk
- To take an active role in promoting and developing the new CCP and expanding the coverage of new OTC derivatives products as and when appropriate
- To liaise with market practitioners and participants on OTC clearing operations related issues and market development program
- To support the Collateral Management and oversee the Margin Call process
Requirements:
- University degree in all disciplines; FRM, CFA, CPA or equivalent
- At least 5-7 years’ relevant experience, of which at least 2-4 years at a supervisory level with proven operation experience on OTC Derivatives products
- Proven exposure to Collateral Management, OTC Fixed Income products and ideally a good insight into derivative products typically traded within an OTC Collateral environment
- Sound knowledge of the International, Hong Kong and Mainland market practices and development associated with clearing and settlement of OTC derivatives products, and industry standards applicable to CCPs on clearing OTC derivatives, such as CPSS-IOSCO Recommendations and ISDA Protocols is preferable
- Candidate should be able to organize themselves efficiently, keep track of multiple outstanding items and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent managerial, analytical, strategic thinking, networking, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Candidates with lesser experience and qualification will be considered for a lower level
