POSITION TITLE: Senior MANAGER, MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
DEPARTMENT: Marketing services
DIVISION: Product management and Marketing
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field required
- MBA or advanced coursework in Marketing or Finance preferred
- Seven to 10 years investment marketing experience preferred
- Knowledge of investment concepts or products required
- Knowledge of separate accounts, SMAs and mutual funds as well as institutional, or retail investors preferred
- Strong knowledge of marketing campaigns and how to use marketing programs to sell products and enhance brand required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications required
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Provide strategic and tactical marketing support for assigned sales channels and/or clients.
- Develop strong working relationships with product managers, sales and other relevant groups to assure the best ideas and programs are developed.
- Work with product managers, sales directors and investment personnel to develop programs and support for specific products that are either targeted to specific firms or targeted broadly to numerous organizations.
- Evaluate the day-to-day marketing support requests from sales; work with marketing supervisor and product management to determine what ideas are to be executed.
- Provide marketing direction and ideas to sales management; develop marketing plans to support the execution of these ideas.
- Analyze market research, client information and other strategic input and incorporate relevant findings into specific product, channel, or client programs.
- Measure results of marketing programs and campaigns via post-project reviews and analysis.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to bring programs and sales ideas to market on time and on budget.
- Participate in staff budgeting and forecasting as required.
- Represent Federated at clients meetings and some industry or client events.
- Support the in the quarter-end process as defined by management
HOURS/LOCATION:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
- Federated Investors Tower - Twenty-third floor
