Priority Health in Grand Rapids has opportunity for an accomplished, operational manager with significant health insurance experience to join the Medicare Sales operation team. The Senior Manager, Medicare Sales will oversee development and implementation of strategic plans for Medicare product sales through independent agents, field-marketing organizations and employer groups. This position will also ensure accountability and productivity of external sales representatives to exceed established sales goals, along with managing the operation and sales performance of the Medicare Walk-in Centers. A well-qualified candidate will have considerable experience in health care, management, Medicare sales, agent-support and oversight. Proven ability to meet sales goals, manage staff, clearly communicate and plan strategically will be required for success in this position. Basic Qualifications: BA or BS degree. Minimum five (5) years health care experience. Minimum three (3) years management experience. Minimum three (3) years Medicare sales experience. Minimum two (2) years experience working with agents.
