Senior Manager of Drug Safety Pharmacovigilance

Responsibilities:

*Liaise with plan members, consultants, and third party record keeper, with regards to pension policies and administrative matters.
*Process pension benefits calculations for retirements, deaths, terminations, disability.
*Present financial benefits to new hire…
*Preparation of reports and listings for committee meetings and for internal purposes.
*Yearend Plan requirements (e.g. T4A slips, Forfeitures, Pension Adjustments, Pension Adjustment Reversals)..
*Preparation and verification of and filing of regulatory authority documents (Annual Information Returns).
*Maintenance of pensioner data and reconciling pension payments.
*Participate in Special Projects as required.

Qualifications:
*Candidates with a post secondary education and related courses in benefits and pension administration are recommended.
*Up to date knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution pension plan legislation is required, as well as tax legislation.
*Strong mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, time management, and independent problem-solving skills.
*Ability to quickly recognize and adapt to each client's communication style with excellent attention to detail.
