Senior Manager of Financial Reporting Job in New York, New York US
A Prominent Media Entertainment Company located in New York City, NY has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting with responsibilities as follows:
- Financial reporting activities of the division, including daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Assist in the preparation of all financial statements and key financial information including monthly forecast of results, and other financial reports and analyses as needed
- Perform analytical reviews of the Company’s consolidated financial results, working with corporate departments to fully understand variances
- Involvement in the annual budget process
- Coordinate with the other departments (i.e. programming, HR, etc) to prepare key information
- Perform tasks necessary for the completion of special accounting projects (e.g., competitive analyses, business combinations, etc.)
- Manage communications with senior management on external financial statements and related information
- Organizational Relationships: Report directly to the VP of Finance and act as a key partner with Home Office and Corporate departments
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA a plus
- 6-8 years of public or public/private accounting
- Media, Entertainment or Advertising industry a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principals and finance skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and JDE/Hyperion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
The total compensation range is from $100,000 to $115,000.
