Senior Manager of Motor and Consumer Lines Underwriting, UAE recruitment
The successful candidate has to act as a link for any motor business related matter in order to drive the business forward.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the business strategy for the development of Motor and Consumer lines.
- Attend meetings when required by the management for any new business or any renewal of existing ones.
- Proactively review and address continuous operational improvements in close coordination with the operations and IT departments.
- Design, develop and implement new distribution initiatives in close coordination with the distribution heads, including alternative distribution, branches and other traditional distribution channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or related, though CII or similar is an advantage.
- At least 12-15 years of experience in the insurance industry in the GCC, of which the last 7 years must be in a similar role with a few years of experience in the UAE Market.
- Candidate must speak Arabic.
