Senior Manager of Strategic Business Analytics (MCE 727-M)
The Senior Manager of Strategic Business Analytics assumes lead responsibility for in-depth industry analysis for the Strategy and Business Development Department, creatively analyzing all aspects of our business and collaboratively working on integrated solutions that adapt to our organization’s unique risk profile and methodologies. The Senior Manager will guide management strategy in the most profitable directions by providing timely, reliable insights, scenario modeling and transparent and timely reporting, with an emphasis in demographic analysis, to better drive top-line growth, control costs, and reduce risk. He/she will provide line-of-business managers with actionable insights through packaged analysis and reporting solutions. The position requires the technical skills set needed to perform complex analytical duties and the ability to communicate technical information to the management team in a clear and concise format.
Requirements:
Knowledge of: Advanced analytics, data mining, text mining, statistical analysis to include regression, cluster and correlation analysis, data collection and online survey research, data modeling and predictive modeling, use of predictive analytics products.
Education Requirement: Four year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).
Skills and Abilities: Expert level analytical skills, statistical analysis, problem solving, and documentation skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written) advanced Excel skills, intermediate Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, SQL, DB2, Oracle skills.
Work Experience: Minimum five years applicable experience.
Other: Occasional travel required.
