An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager - Operational Risk and Compliance within our Institutional business in Wellington.
Focussed on meeting the needs of New Zealand's largest corporations and financial institutions, our Institutional business holds the clear number one market position across New Zealand. Our role is to protect and defend this position by ensuring the sound operation of our Global Markets division so that the growth can continue.
Your wealth of experience in providing audit or risk management advice will be from within the financial services sector. Your leadership skills and strong understanding of Global Markets will enable you to hit the ground running and lead our team of people to deliver a robust framework of operational risk and compliance governance and work to embed a strong risk culture within our teams.
Key Skills:
- At least 6 years experience in audit or risk management from within the banking industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good understanding of Markets products
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Good interpersonal skills
