Due to a greater need to identify and escalate operational processes and procedures, a challenging role has been created for a strong Banker or Auditor in Operational Risk. You will report into senior management and will articulate, deliver and implement optimal solutions to operational processes and frameworks.
You will focus and be responsible for ensuring all control self assessments are carried out and will monitor any issues through to closure and drive effective testing and retesting solutions. With an eye for detail, you will accurately capture risk events and will also provide governance for overall process and procedural changes. Partnering with specific business units and other key stakeholders, your strong communication and negotiation skills will compliment delivery of periodic reporting and incident management. With a strong acumen for driving operational risk excellence, you will be required provide a high level of judgement and input into the design and content of risk training procedures and road maps.
To be suitable for this role it is essential you have proven operational risk experience, with a strong banking background or come from an auditing role. It is key that you hold strong product knowledge across the complex global markets space and are up to date with current market practice. This role will suit someone who strives for excellence and is well versed in policy, procedures and compliance. You will be effective in engaging stakeholders and demonstrate a strong track record of achievement within your career to date.
